ACADEMIC DEADLINES - Fall 2019

FALL 2019 registration dates are listed below. Students must have a valid application on file to register. Students must register at mySDCCD: http://my.sdccd.edu 
 
PRIMARY 16-WEEK SESSION: AUGUST 19 – DECEMBER 16, 2019
 
Aug 19 Fall Semester begins
 
Aug 30 Last day to receive, process and pay for add codes
 
 
Aug 30 Deadline to drop classes with no “W” recorded
 
 
Aug 30 Refund Deadline for enrollment fees and/or nonresident tuition
 
 
Sep 2 Labor Day*** Sep 17 Constitution Day (Classes in session)
 
 
Sep 20 Last day to petition for Pass/No Pass grade option
 
Oct 25 Withdrawal Deadline - The last day to withdraw from classes and receive a “W”. No drops accepted after this date. Thereafter, a student must receive a letter grade.
 
 
Nov 11 Veterans Day***
 
 
Nov 25–27 Classes not in session

 * Active Duty Military, Veterans who were discharged within the past 15 years, Homeless or Foster Youth under 25 years of age may be eligible for priority registration. For information, contact the College Admissions Office by June 21 for required verification.

** Permits purchased by this date will be mailed. Permits purchased after this date will need to be picked up on campus. Parking permits are required at all times. Day permit machines are available in most student lots.

*** Holidays – No Saturday or Sunday classes following a Friday Holiday. No Sunday classes before a Monday Holiday.

Plan Ahead:
The deadline to submit an application to Spring 2020 and receive a registration date and time is October 25. Students applying after this date will register during the open registration period.
