MISSION STATEMENT
The Accelerated College Program enables students to embark on a successful college
career, getting an early start on their educational goals, while still in high school.
Earning transferable college credit and providing students access to a diverse and
rigorous college curriculum, the Accelerated College Program is a highly effective
outreach program of the San Diego Community College District operating out of San
Diego Mesa College. Serving the diverse student body of the San Diego Unified School
District for over 50 years, our collaborative efforts focus and respond to the needs
of our students while promoting excellence in teaching and learning. The Accelerated
College Program works with our students to foster academic achievement, cultivate
the characteristics of integrity, responsibility, and critical thinking that establish
patterns for lifelong learning, civil engagement and success.
