Mesa Tutoring and Computing Centers (MT2C) provides assistance on an appointment, online, and walk-in basis. All tutoring is provided by professional tutors. Tutoring is FREE and available for all SDCCD students.

The mission of the MT2C is to:
  • Promote independent learning and confidence through empowering relationships.
  • Support the learning process by continually creating a welcoming and safe space.
  • Foster a community of learners. At the heart of our mission is cultivating professionalism in order to help students, tutors, staff, and faculty succeed and reach their goals.

Certifications and Commendations

The College Reading & Learning Association’s (CRLA) International Tutor Training Program Certification (ITTPC) team has certified that the Mesa Tutoring and Computing Center (MT2C) has been approved for Stage 1, Levels 1 (Certified), 2 (Advanced), and 3 (Master) tutoring training.
 
The Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), the regional accrediting agency that evaluates two-year colleges in California, commended MT2C tutoring services for our committed employees and collaborative team oriented environment that includes professionalized student tutors.
