Fermentation Management
Students in the Certificate of Achievement in Fermentation will have the opportunity to study the business aspect of the industry. Studying the production of beer, wine, sprits and other fermented beverages along with business courses in sales and marketing, law, accounting, importing, distribution and operations will prepare students for employment in the beverage industry.
Program Goals
The course in Fermentation Management centers in the brewing, distilling and wine making industries focusing on the hospitality segment. Students will be introduced to the vast segments that make up the industry ensuring a greater understanding of the industry which will make the student more desirable and marketable for greater advancement in the industry.
Career Options
The program will allow students to pursue many facets of the fermentation and beverage industry. Career options include: brewer, wine maker, distiller, tap room manager, winery manager, sales manager, entrepreneur, distributor, beverage writer, and beverage manager to name a few.
